Immigration Check-In


Please note that F-1 students are required to schedule an Immigration Check-in appointment if they are new to NKU, new to their F-1 status, or new to their level of study.

The F-1 student immigration check-in is meant to occur the week before classes begin. This process is designed to help students understand their responsibilities as F-1 visa-holding students in the U.S. and at NKU, as well as to ensure students remain compliant with government reporting criteria. Each appointment will take approximately 45 to 60 minutes.
