The "Letter of Good Standing" includes academic standing, visa-category with immigration status, major, and current Program End Date, as shown in SEVIS. For a letter with anticipated graduation date based on class standing and degree progress, please contact your NKU academic advisor to make your request.

NOTE: As a policy, ISSS does not issue letters of invitation for visa interviews of family members for travel to the U.S. Consular officials from the U.S. Department of State have stated that B-2 tourist/visitor visa applicants do not need an invitation letter from the school and that the letters are not helpful.

Ohio residents should not submit this driver's license paperwork request because Ohio does not require specific, new paperwork from a school for an F-1 visa-holder's Ohio driver's license application. See the Ohio BMV's webpage for Non-U.S. Citizens for documentation required for a Non-Renewable/Non-Transferable Driver License or ID Card.

After reviewing the BMV's requirements for documentation to prove Ohio residency, use this Service Request Form and the Other Request/Not Listed option to request a school letter verifying Ohio street address if you do not otherwise have documents to verify Ohio residency.

Service requests are completed in the order received, with an email notification sent when the requested document is ready for pick-up at the front desk of UC 305. Please expect three business days on average for notification of completion.
