We offer opportunities for first year honors students to participate in one of our honors learning communities and first year experience programs. Students are not required to enroll in a learning community, but we believe that they will truly enhance your first year experience. If you would like to select a learning community, please indicate your preferences below. Making a selection below does not guarantee enrollment in these communities but it allows us to start planning for the fall semester. The learning communities are filled on a first-come/first-served basis and space is limited, however, we will try to honor your first preference. The Honors College also offers honors housing in Callahan Hall. Students in honors housing enjoy additional honors advising in the residence halls, early move-in and special honors orientation, and numerous honors social activities coordinated for honors housing students. In addition, your resident assistant will be a current honors student who can help you transition to life in the Honors College at NKU.
